Samantha Donahue serves as the Vice President of Engineering Operations at Pacific Defense, where she drives engineering excellence and operational efficiency across the organization. Samantha has over 10 years of experience in embedded software engineering, FPGA development, and managing cross-functional teams, in the defense industry.

Prior to her current role, Samantha was Pacific Defense’s Director of Software Engineering, where she led a team of engineers specializing in embedded systems and FPGA technologies. Her career began at Spectranetix, where she started as an Embedded Software Engineer and advanced to an Engineering Manager, specializing in CMOSS and SOSA open architecture software implementations.

Samantha earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is originally from Buffalo, NY. In her spare time, you can find Samantha at a Seattle Kraken game, supporting the Buffalo Bills, or hanging out with her two orange cats.
